I’ll start this off by saying this is a california woody that is still wearing all its original paint wood trim and body panels that is free of any major rust issues that has gone thru a complete drive train overhaul with 90% of the parts being brand new with exclusion of keeping the orignal matching numbers engine block and tranmission and transfer case housings.
I purchased this grand woody wagon from a mechanic shop where it was left for lien sale due to original owners fell in to hardship and couldnt afford to redeem it as they were in middle of a complete restoration and owed close to $20,000 in and parts labor…
Heres the good part.
The orig 5.9 V/8 has been completly rebuit block hot tanked honed only 10 thousands over factorysize bore mainly for clean up line bored turned crank resized rods new manly rod and crank bearings new factory size pistons and pins new high volume oil pump.
Heads have been redone with 3 angle valve job brass guides titanium keepers and both intake&exhaust ports have been cleand up for bit more flow.
Cam push rods and lifters were also replaced with new.
Edelbrock 650 cfm 4v barrel carb and aluminum intake manifold 1 7/8 stainless custom made exhaust headers and a complete new exhaust muffler catalytic system.
All engine accessories have also been replaced new starter altanator distriburator dist cap wires and most electrical have been done.
Under the hood is nice and clean with a chrome dress up kit to top it off.
Transmission and transfer case both have also had complete rebuilds and as well has been built as the engine not a hot rod bye any means but to perform a little better and last a lot longer then the originals.
Both front/rear diffs have been gonethru as well with new carrier bearings axles seals cleand up new better looking caps suspension also as shown in photos shocks brakes calipers rotors all as well replaced with new.
All engine transmission mechanical work has been done a little over a year ago but all only has less then 2k miles on it as my self as well cant keep it due to a new 2020 shelby GT500 purchase and just dont have the room.
I my self am a retired engine builder this thing is done right as should be shes a sweet running Jeep that has plenty of power to get you going on or off road.
As for the interior as shown in photos it is in complete original good condition especially for its age all seats show somw wear as driver a bit more and being leather the orig factory deluxe thick plush carpeting is in great condition all 4 door panels are clean and free of any rips AM/FM/USB/BLUTOOTH Stereo works well all doors lock with original key.
Also as shown in photos the factory original alloy wheels have been sent out for chrome and painted white to match the color sceme and then wraped in brand new whitewall redial tires all the way around have less then 1k miles on them…the wheel and tire cost alone was $4200 and also look very nice.
Runs and drives well stops well no shakes leaks noises of any kind very solid SUV woud make fora great daily driver or weekend off road cruiser ive recently had it smoged and registered in my name do have clean california title and current smog certificate registered till oct-2021.
