Listed here for sale, is one of the rarest and finest C3 Corvette Stingrays in the world.    This historically significant Corvette is virtually priceless. The sister car to this Corvette was in the national Corvette museum for 20 years and valued at one million dollars. This Corvette is similarly valuable but unlike its sibling, this Corvette has been out of the public eye it’s entire life; making it a true Exotic Collector Piece.              Only 700 miles driven on this Corvette since its build was completed in 1982. The thirty-five-year-old metallic lacquer paint is amazing. After seeing this car in person, many people have remarked that this is the best-looking Corvette they have ever seen. It is truly a Rembrandt on four wheels and could be the center piece in any auto collection.       Well ahead of its time, as build started in 1981 making this Corvette one of the original Resto-mod, Pro-Touring Corvettes. The term Pro-Touring did not even appear until 1993 and was credited to Mark Stielow, GM program engineering manager.   There are not many Thirty-Five-year-old Resto-Mods running around with Seven-Hundred-Miles on their original build. I have personally never seen one. Most of the Corvettes that actually had some quality modifications completed on them in the past, had nowhere near the extensive work this Car received and they have been repainted and rebuilt over the years.         The quality of the construction on this Corvette was over the top in 1981 and equals what many modern builders on the famous TV shows are doing today with cars, some Thirty-Five-Years later. The famous Corvette Designer Bill Mitchell himself, personally worked in conjunction with the builders of this Corvette because he knew they were the very best at fabricating custom Corvettes. The creators of this remarkable Car, are also the only team of automotive designers, that Bill Mitchell personally ever worked with outside of General Motors.        This is truly a one of a kind Corvette and is a living testimony to one of the Pioneers of the Corvette itself, Bill Mitchell and his amazing eye for talent.
