1989 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible 4WD
Selling my 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible with 4 Wheel Drive! An extremely rare little truck, both for the convertible top and the 4WD. Dodge only built a few of these factory convertibles in 1989 and fewer in the last year of 1990. They only built a couple hundred with the 4WD. It is a modern, shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive that performs just as designed.
Very good condition with a brand new (one month old) convertible top (good for about 10 years), new larger tires to complement the four-wheel drive, new interior, and paint and recent major service with all AC, fluids and tranny serviced. It runs very well with its 3.9 liter Magnum V6, and you could drive it across country with no problems, It has performed flawlessly for me for the last several years, but it now just sits in the storage garage as I have no real use for it.
It has great air conditioning, converted to R134, power disk brakes, power steering and power windows. It has an upgraded correct Dodge radio with AM/FM and CD. The paint is flawless, but for the tail gate which the painter did a rather poor job of prep on, but it really doesn’t show (check the picture). The custom license plate reads GR8 TRK, because it really is a “Great Truck”.
