Reatta’s were hand-built at the lansing reatta craft center in michigan with a total of 21,751 cars produced between 1989 & 1991 (see wikipedia).
This is a 1989 red buick reatta coupe with just over 113k miles – always in texas & owned by an elderly gentleman with health issues therefore could not drive any longer. Never in an accident or smoked in.
Seemingly car was usedsparingly hence relatively low miles (averaged less than 300 miles per month). Always parked in climate controlled garaged & under a cover.
The engine runs strong (does not overheat even in the texas 100 degree plus summer). The automatic transmission shifts as it should. The automotive media designated the 3.6 l v6 engine as “bullet proof”.
Car was well maintained as the tan leather interior is in very good supple condition showing minor wear. The body with original red paint is also in very good shape with a couple of hardly visible dings but no rust except minor surface rust on theundercarriage.
Every power option & touch screen controls work including the optional power sun roof (sun roof has sagging headliner). Recent maintenance included new power window switches – new coil pack & ignition module – new plugs – fuel system flush – new fuel filter – oil change with new filter – new abs module – coolant system flush – brake system flush – new battery. Includes work shop manual & car cover.
The only reason i’m selling is that i now own a 1990 convertible version with similar mileage.
