1987 Toyota SR-5 4×4 Pickup Truck with a 22re 4cyl engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. This truck was donated to our local Goodwill Chapter. That is who we purchased it from at the auction. For the age of the truck it is in pretty good condition. It does have some flaws which is to be expected. The bad of the truck is that it does have some typical Toyota rust spots but not bad. It has been sitting for awhile so it does have some issues from sitting. It was last registered in 2009. From sitting the hubs don’t engage the transfer case works as it should but the hubs don’t so it won’t go into 4wd. Also the radiator leaks a little from the top. and the tailgate doesn’t latch. The good of the truck is that for the age of the truck it has low miles also from doing some homework that we believe in 2008 that a New Jasper Engine was installed in the truck. So since it has been sitting since 2009 it can’t have many miles on the engine. For being a Toyota truck and for its age this truck is pretty solid. These old Toyotas are getting harder to find. All in all this is a good truck and with a few little things fixed this will be a really nice Toyota Sr-5 4×4 pickup.
