Time to let this Low Mileage 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 go to a new owner. Car has been meticulously maintained over the years, garage kept, and barely driven. I have all paperwork from original purchase and Pontiac historical society report. This is an amazingly clean car sporting its original Dove Grey interior, am/fm cassette, power antenna, power steering, power disk brakes, air conditioning, power windows and power door locks. This years recent service included oil change, transmission fluid/filter change, new anti-freeze, and a leaking heater core replacement. Air conditioning has been retrofitted to R134A and worked last summer. Hoses, belts, and filters have always been maintained or replaced when necessary. Cooling system in perfect working order. Engine had a tune up 2 years ago, which was only 100 miles ago. Transmission shift as it should. Brakes are in good working order. Fuel and brake lines and hoses do not show any wear or rust. Car is completely solid and unmolested. There is surface staining under car as can be seen in the pictures, but there is NO Rust. The car had one repaint in its lifetime, which was done by General Motors in the late 80’s or early 90’s. The repaint was done because G.M. had a problem with failing red paint in 1986-1989 era. The fender and rocker have a ding/small dent on lower portion where something bounced off the road. It has been touched up but is still something I need to note. The interior is almost flawless except for minor wear. The right side floor mat was stained when anti-freeze, from heater core failure, leaked on it. The section of that mat can be dyed back bt an interior specialist and shows no other wear. Plastic/rubber wing and nose are not cracked or checked in any way. I have only put 500 miles on this car since I bought it and it deserves to be shown or enjoyed more. If there are any specific pictiures you would like I can get them and send out. Car is at the shop where I store it and can be seen by appointment. They have my permission to show the car and I can put you in contact with them. Inspections are encouraged and welcome.
