Since the mid 60s the Mustang has been America’s car for the young and young at heart. With a variety of drivetrain choices and trim packages there was a Mustang to suit everyone’s taste from economical but stylish commuter purposes or an all-out muscle machine.
The LX Notchback of the Fox body generation was a simple car on the surface but a serious performance machine under the skin.
This 1984 Example looks handsome sitting on 17 inch 5 spoke alloy wheels and It’s Oxford White paint job is a nice backdrop for the black decal on the hood and trunk lid.
The interior appears freshly upholstered in a Cadet Blue vinyl and all dash and door panels will make you think you just stepped out of a time machine.
Under the hood is a 302 EFI V8 originally form a 1986 Mustang that features 303 rollers. Paired with a 5 speed manual, imagine how this pony can get up and go!
Owner states the engine, transmission and rear end have been recently rebuilt approximately 500 miles ago.
Additional work recently done includes new AC by Classic Air, new gas tank, pump and lines, new brakes, new radiator and water pump, coilover suspension, new tires, frame connectors, new exhaust and new ignition.
