1984 was the first year of the C4 body style. The C4 corvette brought back more powerful engines and the convertible option to the cars. In the rear, the suspension was updated with a Fiberglass mono-leaf instead of a traditional leaf spring.
Powering this sleek ride is a 5.7-liter V8 that was good for 205 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. This power helped accelerate the car to 60 MPH in a little over 6 seconds when new.
