This 1984 Buick Grand National is a solid original car that could use a bit of restoration. Recently donated to a local charity, it runs and drives well, and even passed the California smog test. The body is straight, but the hood, roof, and trunk panels are pock marked with surface rust. There is no structural rust, but it will require a repaint. The rubber trim on the rear bumper is cracked and missing in some areas, and the skirt for the front spoiler is loose. Inside, the leather seat inserts are in good shape, but the bolster on the driver’s side has a hole in it. Rear seat and headliner all look great, but the carpets have a few stains that may or may not come out with a good cleaning. All controls seem to work well, but the T handle on the shifter is loose and the AC is not cold. Mechanically it starts right up and idles nicely. The transmission shifts well and the turbo is smooth. Brakes seem to work well too. A great way to get a rare car that you can drive while you improve.
