Introduced in 1983, the Land Rover One Ten quickly became known as a successful, and very capable, off-road vehicle.  With more powerful engine options, coil spring suspension for softer ride and axle articulation, permanent full time 4-wheel drive derived from the Range Rover, one-piece windshield, and more luxurious cabin, it is easy to see why it remains attractive to collectors yet today.  The one-ten was named from its wheelbase measurement of 110 inches.
