They are relatively rare as AVANTI only made about 200 cars or less each year . This Avanti was found recently in Quebec Canada, out of 20+ years in warehouse storage. I had it brought back to NY(because it is a Vintage American car, the border process was easy but cost me about $1000, and I paid to have all paperwork done. This Avanti II has 82,710 miles and the ENGINE RUNS WELL (because of 20+ years sitting, I ran engine from gas can, so gas tank should be cleaned as part of overall restoration) Car is complete and original and is a fine restoration project being straight and with healthy engine! The frame is good, body good, some common Avanti rust underside called “Hog Troughs”; Good original Rims and good tires; interior leather Raccaro seats are ok overall with one piece of leather out in driver seat corner( from getting in and out); Original owners manual and other deal paperwork! A worthy and most interesting project that can sell for $25,000+ when finished! And they are true American Sports cars with their factory original GM Chevy Corvette drivetrain! So they are pretty fast cars and they have beautiful bodies (Designed by the famous car design legend Raymond Lowey!)
