Fresh out of long time family ownership is this 80 model SC coupe in Grand Prix white over blue leather interior. Car has always been garaged kept and maintained to the highest level. Previous owner in his 70s finally decided to spend more time traveling and playing with his boats…. although he hated to let it go. Originally sold new at Val Ward Porsche Audi in Ft Myers, Florida in January of 1981. Car has had one re-paint in correct factory color and although I would not call it concours by any standard – it looks extremely good and paint is even from front to back and shines beautifully. Tires are brand new Bridgestones and are mounted on the original “stock” cookie cutters that are rarely seen on SCs. There is no history of collision and no rust whatsoever. Interior is original as well and in wonderful condition, save the driver’s seat outside bolster that is showing some wear which is not uncommon. There is a record of head stud repair at approximately 60,000 miles and the tensioner upgrade has been performed as well. Gear box is tight and smooth and there is also record of the clutch being replaced a few years back. This car has been driven less than 1000 miles over the past ten years but serviced annually and remains in top driving condition. Sunroof cables were replaced within the past year and the headliner is near perfect…..as is the dash, carpet and glass. Mileage just turned 90,000 and comes with original owner’s manual, maintenance booklet, two sets of keys, a ton of service records and complete tool kit including the sunroof tool. Still has the factory 85 mph speedometer installed.
